When Archana Vijaya chose to become a contestant in "Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster", she was also awaiting her wedding. Her eviction from the stunt-based reality TV show, she says, was a result of pressure from her mother, who was worried about her getting injured during stunts.

"Khatron Ke Khiladi..." was shot in Cape Town and post the shoot, Archana had a destination wedding in Thailand to her Delhi-based businessman beau Dheeraj Puri on February 3.

"I used to get calls from my mother everyday. She would cry a lot and say, 'What will you do if something wrong happens while doing the stunts which professionals usually do?'," Archana, a popular video jockey and host, told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

“There was a lot of pressure on me because I had to go back home for the destination wedding in Thailand. But still I loved my journey on the show, because it had something which I have never done before," she added.

On being asked about her post marriage life, she said: "I'm exactly the same as I was before. I was shooting for a show just three days after my marriage. Things have not changed much for me after marriage. I'm getting used to called Mrs. Puri!"

Archana looks back at "Khatron Ke Khiladi..." as a "once in a lifetime experience" for her.

“It was like a roller coaster ride -- one that I have never felt before. I'm glad that I did all my stunts successfully. The show required a lot of mental and physical strength. However, she believes that every contestant has a fair chance to win. I got eliminated because of the partner stunt. I wasn't lucky on the elimination day,” Archana told IANS.

Hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, the show is now left with actors Ashish Chowdhry, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Iqbal Khan, Sana Khan, Sagarika Ghatge, Rashami Desai, Asha Negi, Ridhi Dogra, the multi-faceted Meiyang Chang, Kabaddi star Rakesh Kumar and item girl Nathalia Kaur.
