Myanmar to host Asian junior wrestling meet
Yangon, March 4
The Asian Junior Wrestling
Championships will be hosted in Myanmar's Nay Pyi Taw in the third week
of July, the Myanmar Wrestling Federation announced on Wednesday.
A
total of 10 elite Myanmar youth wrestlers are training hard under the
guidance of three foreign coaches. Wrestling teams from about 20
countries and regions are expected to compete in the championships,
reports Xinhua.
Myanmar grabbed three gold, three silver and six
bronze medals in the 27th Southeast Asian Games hosted by the country in
2013. Myanmar Wrestling Federation was reformed in 2013.
