Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC).
"As we mark the end of winter,
let us joyously welcome the renewal of spring with friends, music, and
colour, may the season brings love, happiness, and peace to you and your
loved ones," she said in a statement.
"I wish everyone in
Sacramento and across the world a safe and happy Holi. May this Holi
celebrations welcome a prosperous and colourful spring for all
communities," said Bera.
"Holi is a time to celebrate renewal and
strengthening of community and family bonds. Since ancient times this
festival of colours has commemorated divine pastimes, such as when Lord
Krishna played Holi with his associates and devotees," said Gabbard.
"I celebrate Holi along with millions of Hindus in the US and around the world. I wish all a very happy Holi!" she said.
Other
lawmakers, who joined in wishing "happy Holi to everyone around the
