Bopanna-Mergea enter quarters in Bucharest
Bucharest (Romania), April 22 : The Indian-Romanian tennis pair of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea entered the men's doubles quarterfinals after receiving a walkover at the BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy here on Wednesday.
The second seeds were supposed to play the Cypriot-Russian combination of Marcos Baghdatis and Mikhail Youzhny, who pulled out of the draw.
Bopanna and Mergea will next take on the local wildcard pair of Marius Copil and Adrian Ungur on the clay courts here on Thursday.
