Bahraini Sheikh Salman re-elected AFC president
Manama, April 30 : Bahraini Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim al-Khalifa was re-elected here on Thursday as the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) president for the next four years by the organisation's 26th Congress.
Salman, who ran unopposed, was immediately congratulated by FIFA president Sepp Blatter at the congressional hearing, reports Efe.
The Bahraini became the 10th president of the AFC when he was elected by a majority at a congress in May 2013.
