Rupee gains against dollar
Chennai, May 8 : The Indian rupee on Friday recovered against the dollar on Friday after logging losses for five consecutive sessions, closing at Rs.63.94 against the previous days close of Rs.64.24.
On Friday, the rupee opened at Rs.64.12 and went up to Rs.63.90 against dollar during the intra-day trade.
Industry experts are of the view that the Indian current unit would hover in the same band for some more time.
