My degree is genuine, says arrested AAP minister
New Delhi, June 10 Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar, who has resigned in an alleged fake degree case, on Wednesday said his degree was genuine.
The minister told reporters that his arrest was a conspiracy.
Tomar was arrested on Tuesday amid high drama.
The minister late Tuesday submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying he did not want the image of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) or the government to be tarnished.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said Kejriwal accepted it and it would be forwarded to Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung on Wednesday.
