Boman Irani takes odour challenge
Mumbai, June 16
Actor Boman Irani with his wife
Zenobia on Tuesday took up the Glass House Challenge to fight off the
Indian household odours at an event here.
Set up at a busy mall
here, the glass house was the perfect stage to fight the most persistent
household odours. Before putting Ambi Pur to test, Boman and his wife
cooked some spicy dishes to spread the smell of garlic and 'tadka'
within the 'house'.
After having filled the house with pungent
smells, the couple along with Pieter Hommez, research and development
expert at consumer goods company P&G, sprayed the house with Ambi
Pur Air Effects to not just cover but remove the odours.
"The
Glass House Challenge was indeed the perfect torture test and goes to
show that Ambi Pur Air Effects doesn't just cover, but truly removes the
odours. I'm a huge foodie, but the smells of cooking garlic and 'tadka'
can be quite pungent and a real challenge," Boman said in a statement.
Actress Richa Chadha was invited as a special guest into the house to experience the freshness.
"Having
entered the glass house blindfolded, and on taking in the freshness, I
was convinced I was in a beautiful garden or a luxurious spa. The
fragrance and aroma was subtle, not overpowering and a genuine treat. I
would have never guessed that it was a room filled with garlic and
'tadka' odours," Richa said.
