Miamisburg, Ohio:  The Republican State Leadership Committee’s (RSLC) Future Majority Project (FMP) named State Representative Niraj Antani to its 2015-2016 Board. This announcement was part of the Future Majority Project’s re-launch for the 2015-2016 election cycle that also included the appointment of Former Oklahoma Speaker of the House T.W. Shannon to serve as FMP Chair, along with Governors Susana Martinez and Brian Sandoval of New Mexico and Nevada serving as Honorary Co-Chairs. The new Board includes elected and Party leaders from around the country.

The Future Majority Project seeks to recruit, train, and elect Republican candidates from diverse communities on the state and local level who better represent the full diversity of America. In 2013-2014, FMP recruited hundreds of new candidates and elected 43 new leaders to office. Also announced in today’s re-launch, FMP aims to recruit 250 new, diverse candidates this cycle and see 50 of those candidates appointed or elected to office.

The Board will advise the Future Majority Project on how to best accomplish the new 2015-2016 election metrics set forth in today’s announcement. On behalf of FMP, RSLC President Matt Walter issued the following statement:

“Representative Antani will be a strong asset to the Future Majority Project as we work to broaden our appeal to diverse groups in 2016. FMP has made significant gains in both the 2012 and 2014 election cycles, and I know that Representative Antani’s expertise will serve us well in our effort to recruit candidates who represent the full diversity of America.”

“I am excited for the opportunity to serve on the Future Majority Project’s Board,” said Representative Antani. “I believe in the work that FMP does to recruit and support Republican candidates from all diverse communities and know there is still more to be done. I am ready to do my part to help grow our Party from the ground up and keep us moving in the right direction.”
