Bengaluru, June 18 Five youth were arrested on Thursday for the alleged gang-rape of a 15-year-old girl here, a police official said.
"The accused, an acquaintance, and his friends were arrested after the victim filed a complaint that she was sexually abused by them at a building under construction in the area," Additional Commissioner of Police C.H. Pratap Reddy told reporters.
A case has been registered against all the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2013.
