Bobbi Kristina Brown shifted to hospice care
Los Angeles, June 25
Bobbi Kristina Brown, who
has been in a hospital for months, has been moved to hospice care. A
suit has also been filed against Nick Gordon for inflicting domestic
abuse on the reality TV personality-singer.
Earlier this year, she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home.
Her aunt Pat Houston announced the development in a statement issued on Wednesday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Despite
the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's
condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved
into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She
is in god's hands now," Houstan said.
Meanwhile, Bobbi's
court-appointed conservator Bedelia C. Hargrove filed a complaint
against Bobbi's partner Nick Gordon, accusing him of domestic abuse and
for stealing $11,000 from her.
Hangrove is reportedly seeking $40
million in punitive damages for Kristina on allegations including
assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and
conversion.
"Today I filed a lawsuit on behalf of Bobbi Kristina
Brown. I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi
Kristina Brown. No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi
Kristina endured," Hangrove said in a statement.
"Pat Houston
and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina
since this terrible tragedy occurred. I have worked closely with both of
them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina. This lawsuit
represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina,"
she said
In the complaint, Hangrove claimed Gordon "assumed the
position" of Bobbi's boyfriend after she inherited a "substantial sum"
following her mother's death in 2012.
She insisted that Gordon
was very controlling as "part of a scheme to benefit from her wealth"
and then would "routinely (transfer) a large portion of Brown's funds
into an account controlled solely by him, without the consent or
authorization of Brown".
Gordon also allegedly "often answered
Brown's personal cell phone, would not allow her to make appointments
without his approval, and manipulated her bank relationship so that he
could access her money".
The complaint alleged that Gordon
domestically abused Bobbi, "including punching her in the face, knocking
out a front tooth and dragging her upstairs by her hair".
According
to the complaint, Bobbi had planned to meet up with someone on the day
she was found unresponsive in bathtub to discuss the revelation that
Nick "was not the man she thought he was".
But Bobbi, the paper
stated, never made it to the meeting and instead became "embroiled in a
loud argument with Nick at her Georgia home, which ended with her "face
down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out"
and being diagnosed with "global and irreversible brain damage".
