BJP wins Madhya Pradesh bypoll
Bhopal, June 30 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Chander Singh Sisodia on Tuesday defeated the Congress party's Subhash Sojatia by a margin of 12,945 votes in Madhya Pradesh's Garoth assembly constituency bypoll.
The results were declared after 19 rounds of counting. While Sisodia got 81,449 votes, Sojatia managed to get 68,504.
Over 71 percent of voters had turned out for the polling on June, 27.
