Guerrilla killed in ongoing Kashmir gunfight
Srinagar:One separatist guerrilla was killed and a soldier was left injured on Friday in an ongoing gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district near the Line of Control (LoC), a defence official said.
"Alert troops noticed suspicious movement near the LoC on our side today morning. Upon being challenged, terrorists opened fire at the soldiers, triggering an encounter," Defence spokesman Colonel N.N. Joshi told IANS here.
"The injured soldier has been rushed to a hospital for treatment," he added.
