Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who received the report, said that all the things will be discussed before a final decision would be taken, while Finance Minister K.M.Mani said that this is going to be a huge financial burden to the state exchequer.
The government will now discuss the issue with all concerned and then it would come before the state cabinet.
The committee that prepared the report has recommended that the revised salary should come into effect from July 1 last year and has also recommended for raising the pension age from 56 to 58 years.
