Delhi student scheme to be named after Kalam
New Delhi: The Delhi government announced on Tuesday that its scheme providing educational loan up to Rs.10 lakh will be named after former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
"This is our tribute to Abdul Kalam," a spokesman for the Aam Aadmi Party government told IANS.
Abdul Kalam died on Monday evening in Shillong after collapsing during a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management.
