Militants kill policeman in Kashmir

Srinagar:Separatist guerrillas on Tuesday gunned down a policeman posted on guard duty at a shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said.

"Militants fired at Constable Fayaz Ahmad posted on guard duty at Tujarsharief shrine in Baramulla district today morning," a police officer told IANS.

He later died due to his injuries.

"Reinforcements have been rushed to the area to trace the assailants," the officer added.
