Three killed in indiscriminate Pakistan shelling in Jammu

Three civilians were killed and
nine injured on Friday in heavy and indiscriminate shelling by Pakistan
in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
"Three civilians were killed
and nine injured in indiscriminate shelling by Pakistan Rangers in R.S.
Pura sector of the International Border in Jammu district," a senior
police officer told IANS.
Subhash Chander, 45, and Bimla Devi,
42, both residents of Sai Khurd village, and Pawan Kumar, 55, who lived
in Abdullian village, were killed.
The injured have been shifted to a hospital.
Pakistan Rangers resorted to shelling and firing at 1 a.m. on Friday and firing exchanges are still on.
Police
said the Pakistani side also used automatics and machine guns to fire
indiscriminately in the area. Many civilians areas have come under heavy
shelling by Pakistan.
The Indian side has appropriately retaliated, he added.
