BJP, RSS leaders meet in Delhi
New Delhi, Sep 2 A three-day coordination meeting of BJP and RSS leaders began here on Wednesday.
BJP president Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Health Minister J.P. Nadda attended the meeting.
Ram Madhav, a Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary who was formerly with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, was also present.
Around 95 members of the RSS, the BJP's ideological parent, are expected to take part in the event being held in the guest house of the Madhya Pradesh government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend the meeting on September 4.
A number of issues such as the One Rank One Pension scheme for soldiers and the agitation by the Patel community in Gujarat demanding reservation in jobs and education are expected to be discussed.
