Trisha green-lit 'Nayaki' in five minutes
Chennai, Sep 12: Southern film actress Trisha Krishnan agreed to be part of her upcoming bilingual horror-comedy "Nayaki" after just five minutes of the film's narration, says director Govi.
"It took just five minutes of narration to convince Trisha to do the film. I wasn't sure when she said 'yes' the first time, so I even asked her again to confirm it. She felt the script had the potential to be a hit and even be liked by critics," Govi told Bollywood Country.
The film's story is set in 1980s and Trisha will be seen as a 20-year-old.
For the first time in her career, Trisha plays a dual role.
Also starring Ganesh Venkatraman, Jayaprakash, Brahmanandam and Arya Rajesh, the film is simultaneously being shot in Tamil as "Nayagi".
