Saudi king visits crane collapse site in Makkah
Jeddah, Sep 13 Saudi Arabia King Salman visited the victims of deadly crane collapse in the Grand Mosque in Makkah that claimed at least 107 lives.
An investigation into the cause of the crane's collapse is underway and findings will be revealed soon, al-Arabia quoted the king as saying on Sunday.
At least 238 people were injured when a massive construction crane smashed into the part of the Grand Mosque where Haj pilgrims circle the Kaaba to pray.
The Haj pilgrimage, which starts next week, will proceed unaffected by the incident, Saudi officials confirmed on Saturday.
A committee decreed by the Emir of Makkah, Prince Khaled Al Faisal, is working on examining the cause of the deadly collapse.
