Now, win cash prizes for clicking Kerala's beauty

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 27  Now, one can win cash prizes by clicking Kerala's beauty, says Kerala Tourism.

"It's for the first time we are coming out with a contest with such huge amounts as prize money," said Kerala Tourism Minister A.P. Anil Kumar.

Anyone can send in up to three entries and the best picture will win a cash prize of Rs.5 lakh, followed by Rs.3 lakh and Rs.2 lakh besides five consolation prizes of Rs.1 lakh each.

Applicants can know more about the contest by logging on to www.keralatourism.org.

The photographs should be original and taken between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2015 and the applicant should have its copyright.

"This competition that attracts participants from across the globe will further expand the state's tourism market and encourage more visitors to explore our land," said Kerala Tourism secretary, G.Kamala Vardhana Rao.
