Four-fold hike for Delhi lawmakers recommended
New Delhi, Oct 6 Delhi lawmakers should get four times the monthly salaries they are drawing presently, or Rs.50,000 as against the current Rs.12,000, an independent panel has suggested.
The three-member panel set up by the Aam Aadmi Party government to look into revision of the salaries of Delhi legislators, has also recommended constituency allowance be hiked from Rs.18,000 to Rs.50,000 and conveyance allowance from Rs.6,000 to Rs.30,000.
The AAP has 67 members in the 70-member Delhi assembly.
