Two Maoists killed in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Nov 12 Security forces shot dead two Maoists in a gun battle in Odisha's Sundargarh district, police said on Thursday.
"We have got success in killing two Maoists. One has been identified as Sangram. He is a platoon commander," Director General of Police K.B. Singh told the media here.
The other person is yet to be identified.
Acting on intelligence inputs, the police along with the Special Operations Group and the Central Reserve Police Force launched a combing operation the past few days in Chandiposh forest, said Singh.
Security forces seized four rifles and grenades, 284 rounds of bullets and gelatin sticks.
