US tourist held in Kolkata for sexually abusing teenager
Kolkata, Nov 28
An American tourist in his 50s has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a teenaged boy at a posh hotel here, police said on Saturday.
The man was taken into custody on Friday by personnel of the Bidhannagar police commissionerate after a complaint was lodged by the general manager of the five-star hotel.
The hotel staff became suspicious when the tourist entered his room with the 14-year-old boy.
They later questioned the boy, who admitted that the tourist forced him to commit sexual acts and later given him money.
The man had befriended the boy through a social networking website, a police officer said.
