Rahul Gandhi's dig at PM over Azad's suspension
New Delhi, Dec 24 Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the suspension of BJP MP Kirti Azad from the party over DDCA corruption charges.
"Modi-ji said na khaunga na khaane dunga (neither will I indulge in corruption, nor allow anyone else to indulge in it). Now that his MP has pointed out corruption (in the cricket body), he has been suspended," Rahul Gandhi said.
"Ab Modi-ji jawaab dein... (Let Modi reply to the issue now)," he said.
The BJP on Wednesday suspended Darbhanga MP Kirti Azad from the party for alleging large-scale corruption in Delhi and District Cricket Association when it was headed by present Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
