M.S. Dhoni biopic to release on September 2, 2016
Mumbai, Dec 28 Director Neeraj Pandey's upcoming film "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story", starring Sushant Singh Rajput as India's World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will hit the screens on September 2, 2016.
Sushant took to Twitter to announce the release date of the film.
"#dhoniTheUntoldStory will release on 2nd September 2016. Can't wait. #neerajpandey @foxstarhindi," posted the actor, who underwent rigorous training as well as a makeover to essay Dhoni.
Produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment, "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story", which has been shot extensively in Ranchi also features veteran actor Anupam Kher, who will be seen playing Dhoni's father Pan singh.
One-film-old actress Kiara Advani will be portraying Dhoni's wife Sakshi.
