`DMK will not keep out Congress from any alliance'
Chennai, Dec 28 DMK president M.Karunanidhi on Monday said his party will not keep out the Congress while inviting other political parties for forming a coalition to fight the ensuing Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
Responding to a reporter's question whether he would also invite Congress as he had invited DMDK to form an alliance, Karunanidhi said: "When inviting parties for a coalition we will not keep out Congress."
The DMK did not align with the Congress while fighting the 2014 general elections charging later of being anti-Sri Lankan Tamil.
The DMK walked out of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, expressing its dissatisfaction at the way it was handling the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.
