Talks with Pakistan: Modi, Sushma, Jaishankar hold meeting

New Delhi, Jan 13 Amid speculation about whether the foreign secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan will go ahead as scheduled on January 15 in Islamabad in the wake of the Pathankot terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a meeting at his residence here with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar.
The meeting was held following the return of Jaishankar from Sri Lanka. Details were not available.
Meanwhile, following Pakistani media reports about the arrest of Maulana Masood Azhar, leader of the Jaish-e-Mohammad that claimed responsibility for the January 2 terror attack on the Indian Air Force base in Pathankot, external affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup was quoted as saying that India has not received any official confirmation on this.
