Sushma Swaraj meets Palestine foreign minister

Ramallah (Palestine), Jan 17 External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday met her Palestinian counterpart Riyad Maliki as she began her visit to Palestine and Israel.
Sushma Swaraj, who landed in Tel Aviv late on Saturday, reached Ramallah, the administrative capital of the Palestinian National Authority, on Sunday morning.
She is scheduled to meet Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas.
“A Partnership with Palestine begins,†external affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup tweeted.
From Palestine, the Indian minister will proceed to Israel later on Sunday to meet top Israeli leaders.
