AIADMK seeks applications from aspiring legislators
Chennai, Jan 18 Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa on Monday announced that those desirous of contesting the ensuing assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry on an AIADMK's ticket can submit their applications.
In a statement issued, Jayalalithaa, who is also the AIADMK general secretary, said the applications can be purchased and submitted by the applicants between January 20 and February 3.
The cost of application has been fixed at Rs.11,000 for those wanting to contest in Tamil Nadu, Rs.5,000 for Puducherry and Rs.2,000 for Kerala seats.
The elections in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala are slated this year.
