Shuttler Sindhu rises to World No.11
New Delhi, Jan 28 India's P.V. Sindhu rose a place in the women's singles rankings released by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) on Thursday to be ranked No.11.
Compatriot Saina Nehwal remained the World No.2.
In men's singles, Kidambi Srikanth and H.S. Prannoy remained at No.9 and No.20 respectively as reigning Commonwealth Games champion Parupalli also went up a place to No.14.
Mumbai's Ajay Jayaram dropped as many as four spots to be ranked No.25.
There was no movement in doubles. The men's doubles pair of Manu Attri and B. Sumeeth Reddy stayed at No.17 while Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa remained at No.14 in women's doubles.
