She enjoys immense popularity as a Hindi film celebrity today, but Katrina Kaif says nobody liked her when she was in school.

\"I was always a shy Cancerian child. I really didnâ€™t speak to anyone. I wasnâ€™t very popular and nobody really liked me in school. My first friend was an Indian boy who was really very nice to me. When I was about 16, then I think I started making friends and started getting more popular,â€ Katrina said on chat show â€œYaar Mera Superstarâ€.

While she has been in the limelight for her rumoured relationships with actors like Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina said that if she has to date a person, one thing she would notice would be his persona and the vibe around him.

â€œYou should get a vibe from the person. Also, a guy should smell good,â€ the â€œNamastey Londonâ€ actress said.

Katrina will next be seen onscreen in forthcoming film â€œFitoorâ€, which is slated to release on February 12.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu.
