Abducted Snapdeal executive reaches home
Ghaziabad, Feb 12 A female Snapdeal executive, who was abducted from the Vaishali Metro Station in Ghaziabad, managed to flee from her captors in Haryana's Panipat town and has now reached home.
Deepti Sarna, 23, was abducted on Wednesday night while on her way back home in from the metro station.
Deepti called-up her father Narendra Sarna from an unknown mobile number and told him that she had managed to flee from Karnal and had reached the New Delhi Railway station.
"On family information we also reached railway station and escorted her to her residence. The SSP also met the girl at the border and inquired briefly. We will meet her again," said SP City Salman Taj Patil.
Earlier when police failed to trace the girl even after 30 hours, residents staged a protest by blocking roads and held a sit-in at Hapur road outside the SSP's Office.
