BJP wins in Ghaziabad mayoral poll

Ghaziabad, Feb 16  The BJP on Tuesday won the mayoral by-election in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, officials said.

Bharatiya Janata Party's Ashu Verma defeated Samajwadi Party's Sudan Rawal by 45,228 votes

There were 12 candidate in the fray but the main contest was between the BJP and the ruling Samajwadi Party.
