TANA Foundation, the charitable arm of Telugu Association of North America (TANA), very successfully organized one of the biggest cancer-screening camps in the world in Guntur on Saturday, February 20, 2017, in partnership with Grace Foundation of Hyderabad and Bible Mission of Guntur. More than 200 physicians, 400 nurses and other healthcare workers and many volunteers participated in this camp. From initial reports, 2790 women were screened for breast and cervical cancer in one single day. 193 women screened positive for breast cancer, and we are waiting for the results of the cervical cancer screening. Dr. Chowdary Jampala, President of TANA, and Sreenivasa Gogineni, Chairman of TANA Foundation offered their sincere thanks to the Grace Foundation and all the physicians, nurses, healthcare workers and volunteers that enthusiastically participated in this screening.
