Bollywood dances at NJ Devils arena enthralls audience
Newark, New Jersey: Takajum Dance School performed at the Bollywood themed night at the New Jersey Devils ice hockey tournament on Feb 19.
The team of dancers consisted of the Takajum dance troupe, Takajum students and the NirtyKalpna dance group.
They showcased Indian culture through semi-classical, folk and bollywood inspired dances. With vibrant colors and foot tapping numbers, the team brought a taste of India to the N J Devils Arena.
Takajum Dance School is based in Marlboro, NJ and was established by director Nisha Pradeep. Dancers are trained in classical bharatanatyam, semi-classical, folk and bollywood dance forms.
