RSS has become a political organisation: Congress
New Delhi, Feb 26 The Congress on Friday alleged that the RSS has turned into a political organization, as opposed to its own constitution.
"When the RSS constitution was formed, they were asked to include in their constitution that they were not a political organisation but they will indulge only in cultural, social and educational activities. They agreed to frame it in the same way," said Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad.
"But now RSS has not remained a cultural organisation. It is no more an educational or social organization. It has bacome a full-fleged political organisation. But it is opposed to its own constitution," he added.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is just a mask but the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is running the government, said Azad.
