MM Hassan speaks at Kerala Chamber of Commerece evnt in Edison, NJ

New Jersey: Kerala chamber of commerce of north america (KCCNA) organized a business seminar at Edison Hotel, New Jersey on Friday, February 26 from 06:00 p.m to 8:30 p.m.   Former Parliamentary and Information Minister and present Vice President of KPCC  Mr. M.M. Hasan was the chief guest in the function. Mr.Jiby Thomas Moloparambil , Board member of KCCNA delivered the welcome speech and Mr.Thomas G Mottackal, Chairman KCCNA, Aniyan George, President KCCNA also spoke on the occasion.  In his welcome speech Jiby Thomas Moloparambil  expressed his wholehearted welcome to distinguished chief guest and other esteemed guests gracing the occasion. He said primary objective of the business seminar is to promote Indo-American business, trade and economic relations and also focused on the upcoming novel and highly laudatory mission to involve North American Malayalee's for Kerala's Janasree susthira Vikasanammission project which also aims at helping the needy amongst malayalee families in US. Jiby also said discussions are on to raise funds with funding agencies in US to improve the Microfinance lending in Kerala. 

In a moving speech, Mr. Thomas G Mottackal laid special stress on herculean challenges faced while trying to initiate business ventures in Kerala. In his opinion, kerala need provide far better support mechanisms and congenial atmosphere for business ventures discarding red tapism and favoritism. Mr Aniyan George said that central mission of KCCNA is to support malayali community especially by advocating empowering our businesses and also to help accelerate business opportunities  and enhance and improve all matters related to business and community relations. Founding chairman Mr.  Dilip Varghese handed over memento to Mr.M.M.Hasan on the occasion. 

In his Keynote address, former minister of parliamentary and information, Mr. M.M. Hasan eloquently narrated the supreme importance of initiating, maintaining and nurturing business ties between American malayalis and Kerala based business enterprises. Mr.Hasan  was steadfast in condemning the evil practice of hartal in kerala and also spoke vehemently against several hurdles hindering the proliferation and advancement of business enterprises. He spoke at length about the new venture initiated in Janasree Susthira Vikasana Mission , a project pioneering to support,aid and assist several up and coming business ventures in Kerala which also aims at providing solace and comfort to the needy in US. Mr .Hasan termed it a visionary as well as highly appreciatory gesture with over 50000 self help groups already initiated. Mr. Jiby Thomas Moloparambil will be the chief coordinator of the new endeavor along with Mr. Arun Subramony , (Director Board member,Janasree Susthira Vikasana Mission). Mr Arun spoke at length about the new project on the avil to involve North american malayaees in  Janasree Susthira Vikasana Mission  and termed it a highly pioneering enterprise .Mr. Lukka Thurayil Jospeh , CEO of Microfinance Project also attended the function.

Leaders from Foma, Fokana, World malayali council, Inoc, Kanj, Manj, Kerala samajam of new jersey, Indian nurses association, Kean, Yonkers malayai association, Malayali association of philadelhia , Karuna charity attended the function.
