Parliament has been reduced to theatre: Sibal
Bhopal, Feb 28 Parliament has been reduced to a theatre since what was shown in theatres earlier was now witnessed in the legislature, senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal said on Sunday.
"Parliament is a place where issues need to be discussed, so that the country can move forward," he told the media here.
The former union minister also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of pushing the agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, adding he is "worried that he (Modi) will not be known as the prime minister of the country in the future."
As for the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (Vyapam) scam, he said he did not feel as if the Central Bureau of Investigation probe was on in the matter.
"The CBI has been handed over documents pertaining to the scam; so why has no effective action been taken so far?" he asked.
