Techie hacked to death in Secunderabad
Hyderabad, March 3 A software engineer was hacked to death by unidentified assailants in Secunderabad, the twin city of Hyderabad, on Thursday, police said.
Four people, who came in a car, attacked Sanjay Junge, 25, with knives while he was walking near Swapnalok Complex in Secunderabad early in the morning.
The techie, who was working in Sutherland Global Services, died on the spot.
A security guard and some policemen, who noticed the car, tried to give a chase but it managed to escape towards Tank Bund.
Police suspect a fight among friends led to the murder. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy. A case has been registered at Mahankali police station.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (north zone) Prakash Reddy said special teams have been constituted to track down the assailants.
