Suspected MH370 debris arrives in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur, March 10 Suspected debris of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, found in Mozambique, was brought in Malaysia for analysis, officials said on Thursday.
The debris would be analysed by experts to determine if it came from the missing flight, Xinhua quoted Malaysian Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai as saying.
He said initial analysis of the debris would be done in Malaysia before it is sent to Australia for further verification.
Flight MH370 disappeared on March 8, 2014, en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board, most of them were Chinese nationals.
A search in South Indian Ocean, where the flight presumably ended its journey, was yet to find the flight's wreckage.
A wing part called flaperon was discovered in the French overseas territory of Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean in July 2015 and was determined to have been a part of the Boeing 777.
