Woman gunned down by militants in Kashmir

Srinagar, March 30 Separatist guerrillas on Wednesday fired at a woman in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. She was taken to hospital where she died of her injuries, police said.

Militants entered a house in Noorpora (Tral) village of Pulwama district in the evening and fired from close range at Hameeda Begum, wife of Gulam Hassan, a police officer told IANS.

The woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition with multiple bullet wounds and died of her injuries, police said.
