Sonia visits Advani residence
New Delhi, April 7 Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday visited BJP leader L.K. Advani's residence here to pay tribute to his wife Kamla Advani who passed away a day earlier.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also visited the Advani residence on Thursday.
Kamla Advani here died on Wednesday following a heart attack. She was 83.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday described her as a "pillar of strength" to Advani and noted that she also motivated party workers.
Advani and Kamla were married in 1965 and have two children, Jayant and Pratibha. The couple last year celebrated their 50th marriage anniversary.
