Shaktimaan, the injured police horse, dead
Dehradun, April 20 Days after it got a prosthetic limb, Shaktimaan, an Uttarakhand Police horse which lost a leg in an attack by a Bharatiya Janata Party legislator last month, died on Wednesday, an official said.
In a bizarre display of cruelty caught on video tape, Ganesh Joshi, the Bharatiya Janata Party legislator from Mussoorie, attacked and severely injured Shaktimaan during a BJP protest against the Harish Rawat government here on March 14.
Shaktiman's leg had to be amputated later. A few days back, a US expert fixed the horse with a prosthetic leg.
