1.7 million voted for NOTA
New Delhi, May 20 Over 17 lakh voters in the five states where assembly elections were held opted for "None of the Above" (NOTA) choice, according to the Election Commission.
According to the results in the poll panel's website, the highest number of 831,845 voters opted for NOTA in West Bengal.
This was followed by Tamil Nadu (561,244), Assam (189,080), Kerala (107,239) and Puducherry (13,240).
The NOTA option was introduced in September 2013. Around 59.59 lakh voters opted for it in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
