Goalkeeper Mandanda says France want to reach, win Euro final
Paris, June 8: France's second goalkeeper Steve Mandanda said on Wednesday that they want to reach the final of Euro football championship which his country hosts, starting on Friday.
The Olympique Marseille keeper added at a news conference that he does not know if France are favourites, but the team's target is to get to the final and win, reports Efe.
On the last-minute absence of some of the crucial players before the Euro, Mandanda said that the strength of team is in collective work and even though they have lost some important footballers, especially in defence, they have trained hard and can overcome the issue.
As for the opening match France will play on Friday against Romania, Mandanda warned that it will not be easy.
