Mumbai, July 13 : Actress Shabana Azmi says superstar Shah Rukh Khan\'s role as possessive fan Gaurav Channa in â€œFanâ€ has been his best so far.

â€œWatched \'Fan\' today. Your performance as Gaurav Channa is possibly one of your best to date. Congratulations,â€ Shabana tweeted.

To that, Shah Rukh replied: â€œShabana Azmi thank you so much maâ€™am. Javed sahib gave me a beautiful poem to read after watching it. Now I have â€˜cent per centâ€™ marks.â€

â€œFanâ€ featured Shah Rukh as Gaurav, a fan of superstar Aryan Khanna, who is also played by the superstar.

The film has been directed by Maneesh Sharma.
