Hopeful of GST passage, government lists Bill in RS agenda
New Delhi, July 29 The government is hopeful of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill being passed during Parliament's ongoing monsoon session and has listed it on the Rajya Sabha's agenda next week, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on Friday.
"Discussion on the matter is going on with different political parties to build a consensus. The government is hopeful of passage of the Bill," Naqvi told reporters outside Parliament.
