IAF trainer jet crashes, pilots safe
Kolkata, Aug 4 A Hawk advanced jet trainer of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed in Midnapore district in West Bengal shortly after taking off from an air base.
Both pilots ejected safely following the crash around 11 a.m., officials said. The jet had taken off from the Kalaikunda base.
The IAF has ordered a Board of Inquiry into the crash.
