PM announces Task Force for next three Olympics
New Delhi, Aug 26 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced that a Task Force will be set up to prepare a comprehensive action plan for effective participation of Indian sportspersons in the next three Olympic Games -- 2020, 2024 and 2028.
He made the announcement at a meeting of the Council of Ministers here.
"The Task Force will prepare overall strategy for sports facility, training, selection procedure and other related matters," an official statement said.
The Prime Minister said that the Task Force, comprising in-house experts as well as others from outside, will be set up over the next few days.
